MarkC sold one for that in December last year (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/KISS-Pinball-Machine_W0QQitemZ110324758353QQihZ001QQcategoryZ3945QQcmdZViewItem) so this sort of money is achievable. That is one expensive Christmas present!

Geez, i'd be stoked to have a non-working KISS sitting in the corner simply coz of the iconic status.
Same goes for a 70's Playboy too.

After playing both these pins, i'm shattered over their gameplay, and they've dropped somewhat down my wantlist ;-)

MM.

This would be the general consensus. KISS in particular, is a little repetitive and boring - compared to a DMD.

Putting into perspective - Rewind to late 1979. Image a row of SS pins, with a KISS in the middle. The KISS pinball would have a line of 20c pieces almost the length of the lock down bar. The other pinnies would be vacant, and used as leaning posts for pinheads waiting to play the KISS.

Bally had a winning formula with their - symmetrical playfields - KISS, EK, Mata Hari, Power Play, 6MDM, Night Rider.

Of all the Pinballs I've seen, KISS's are always tired and worn, but they are by far, the most desired pinball from almost any era.

It is more the theme that makes it popular. I know a lot of KISS fans, and most have the pin, or are looking for it.

we have just sold one for more than 4900

But its up to the individual what they value a Kiss at.

As Daniel says if you don't need the cash and have room would make a great line up all of those

If I keep the KISS the Roadshow will be up for grabs I guess

My opinion only but what you paid for it compared to wat u can sell it for ... I would sell it and spend the $3000 on a holiday.
