Paragon, Playboy etc to buy
« on: September 30, 2012, 07:51:06 PM »
Hi Pinners
New to this site, my name is Neil, Can you help? I want to purchase some old pinnies eg: Paragon, Playboy, Space Oddessy, etc.
Where can I buy these from in Australia or with confidence overseas?  Any feedback would be great.
Thanks
Frosty44

I suspect on those titles Australian Pinball Restorations would be able to help. If you PM Strangways (NiƱo) he will let you know.

Great titles too!!

 $.$ and  %)% to AP, Neil  ^^^

Are you looking for projects, or fully restored games ?

Playboy appears on eBay often, in varying condition. Paragon is less likely to last long on eBay. No need to buy overseas, they both change hands locally.

Space Odyssey would be relatively easy and cheap to obtain.

One was listed on Ebay on Gold Coast... $2300, not sure if it sold but it sat for ages without a sniff at it.
One on there now for $2500.
pockets for Playboy dont need to be so deep lately

$2000 is about all it is worth and should ever be worth.

Couldnt agree more.. but we only have to go back 2 years and you could easily pull $3k - $3.5K for a project.
They would get snapped up instantly on Ebay

Playboy for $2000 ? Where do I sign up for that ? I'll take 10 at that price.

This title is absolute crap condition fetches $2500. Even poorly reconditioned dealer games can fetch $3500 - $4000. Playboy is an iconic title, irrespective of the layout and gameplay.

Price will skyrocket once Hugh kicks the bucket. Evel Knievel was a $2500 pin until he passed away. now you would be lucky to find an average EK for $3500.
