The Chinese are FAR from stupid. Many parts for WMS machines were always made in China - just that very few people knew this at the time.

I have no doubt they can make a pin - they just don't know what one is so they need a westerner to show/tell them and hold their hand through the build.

The Zizzle machine was made in Shenzhen - built to specs provided by a western company.

Looks like they do all sorts of amusement games looking at their site.

The pinball games look like the old 1930s American machines.

Who knows what else is out there?

An Aussie mate of mine lives in Shenzhen and has a large factory making garage door openers. He has all the equipment including 4 new plastic injection machines.

His factory has an empty floor in the building that is HUGE - he has offered it to me at a stupidly cheap price to do exactly this.

I'm not ready to take that plunge yet.

Time, money, expertise - all light on at the moment!

Here's a Stern IJ made in China.
http://llay20089.en.made-in-china.com/product/iqNxhjvUZEas/China-Stern-Pinball-Indian-Jones-Pinball-Machine.html

You would not believe how many of the ads on "Made-in-China" - "Ali-Baba (and the 40 thieves)" type sites are 100% scams.

I would guess at 30% and this one is a classic and typical, many are far more polished.

My China office gets asked by people all the time to try and recover money paid to scammers. We used to try, with mixed results, but now flatly refuse.
