Why are most pinballs in Victoria
« on: March 14, 2009, 08:04:51 PM »
Seems like 80% of all pinballs for sale are in Victoria .
Looking at buying a machine in Melbourne, have sent a message asking if he is willing to freight to Sydney but as yet no response.
What other options are there to freight pinball machines from Melbourne to Sydney if he isn't willing and approx cost
Thanks

I dunno about that, I always feel that Brisbane is the go for ebay stuff but that's maybe a misconception on my behalf. It's just it always seems like the machine I want is there. In reality you are probably 100% correct.

Is it a private sale / ebay?

I believe MarkC has used couriers for machines all the time.  I know there are heaps of guys on here (interstate) that have bought and had couried as well....
I don't know the name of them but someone will soon!....

What machine are you looking at?  Can someone locally here look at it for you?

I think Wotto would be in a good position to answer that!

I think one in good to very good condition from a private sale - should go between $2,000 to $2,500.  From a dealer with warranty etc. Probably $2,500 to $3300....

At worst case, when the retailer says "No buggar off", i'm sure many locals in this forum would pickup on your behalf and get courier arranged to get it upto you.

Works both ways  @@*
