My Gorgar drop targets are having some teething problems.
The GOR drop targets work fine.
The GAR targets reset at game game start but will not reset during a game only with the next ball in play.
I have replaced a broken u-contact that I thought was the problem but no improvement.
Do I need to apply some light machine lube or similar to the contacts?
Could it be down the line somewhere or just located at the assembly.
Help !@#
Cheers

At the start of a game, all target banks reset
At the start of a ball, all target banks reset
This is part of the normal "reset" routine.
During play, the target banks are reset only when the associated switches detect the fall of the target. So one of the targets is not being detected.
What you can do is remove the glass, start a game and then manually drop each target - watch that each target scores. The target that does not score when dropped will be the problem.

Hi Rampage. I own a Gorgar too and I just scored a 12" speaker from WES in Sydney to replace the original speaker and there cheap $35. Cant wait to install, the heart beat will be very low now in frequency. The pinball cabinet will act as a huge speaker box. I recon I might put one in my T2 as well.

I'll try that when I get to the machine tomorrow.

Try rebuilding that target bank. Check the contacts are working and there are no broken wires or diodes on the individual boards.

Ahh Peter - You have come a long way !
The Williams Drop Target assemblies are fickle, but once you have rebuilt one, they are very straight forward.

pulled apart and the copper was realy dirty, polished all the tracks up with a rubber attachment on a dremmell, couple drops of machine oil on contacts, back together and working a treat with higher scores possible now #*#
cheers
Might have to look into a 12' speaker for a deep heart beat sound.
