Big Update!
Inserts are all reinstalled (had to use a couple of original cracked ones that I couldnt source unfortunatly ,put in less obvious places)
First coat of clear is down seemed to go ok, transforms the look of the colours and artwork for the better
Went pretty heavy on the coats (not on purpose,way I had the gun set laid it on a bit thick,seemed ok on my gun test run but hard to tell with clear!)
Test decal I placed in apron area reacted a little lifting on the edges,hopefully just cause I went on thick,might start another post on that...
Will still take a few more coats I recon clears sunk into all the insert gaps,ball swirl and grain which is the whole point I guess...
