Ok - I think I may know what's wrong here.

I went to PSP website and noticed that the Bally E 120-162 pic that they have listed differs from the one pictured by PBR.  http://www.pinball.co/Products/28631-e-120-162.aspx

PBR have listed Part #A2916 as a dual part reference being E120-162 and also E120-127.  http://www.pbresource.com/sockets.html

Therefore could it be that PBR have made a mistake here as linking both sockets as being identical when they are not?

I have attached the below pic of the new socket on the left (purchased from PBR) and the old socket on the right (that works perfectly).  The older socket is also a visual match to the socket listed on PSP.  The insulation rings on both sockets are in differing locations leading me to believe that this is a cause etc?






I have not tested voltages etc.

What do you guys think?
