I was ignorant of the blacklight/glowball effect which sounds really awesome.
Never actually seen one of these in the flesh, I suppose their rarity accounts for that.
I will certainly play one now if the opportunity arises.

I believe the glo-balls have a coating of fluorescent rubber on them, in conjunction with the lighter weight (due to a slightly smaller diameter steel ball) which gives them the "bouncier" playing properties.
There is talk of backalleycreations reproducing them - he has a used one which has been broken down to determine the fluoro rubber compound properties.
