Re: Invisiglass Glass from JJP

I saw this glass being made apx 18 months ago at G.James Glass manufacturing in Brisbane when I was doing some electronic work at the huge factory. They also make it for Up market hi rise buildings etc so people can look out the windows and enjoy the view without the typical glare. At that stage there were no plans to make it in smaller sheets cause there wasnt a market for small panels.

I actually watched it being made in the furnace (like a 300 meter long pizza oven running at apx 3 thousand plus degrees celcius). I was told the secret to making it so strong and so crystal clear was a fine mix of gold dust, silver dust and titanium and a few other secret ingredients was added to the molten mix etc. I saw the various properties being added and it was very very expensive for these very large sheets etc.  I was lucky I got to see it being made. I dont know of anyone in Australia who supplies the correct thickness or glass size pinheads require.  I know Tony(ANT) has also thoroughly researched this, hence his bulk order to help people out in Australia.
(Imagine trying to import just one piece-forget it, the cost would be massive) The only way is a bulk order like ANT has done. I think the buy price he is offering is on the money.

YES, the glass looks absolutely T'riffic.  ^^^
