In fact I recall guys in my neighbourhood letting a ball go at a stage of the game closest to clocking the game to get the highest number. Pity those who still had a ball left and then letting it go to score points on the way thru to clock the game. I think some used to tilt the machine once they had come as close as possible to clocking. Not sure why now tho as the high score only stays until the next game!
