I played all 3 machines around Sydney after their release late 70s, early 80s. Playboy was my favourite in the art work department. Flash was the most challenging of the 3. Gorgar was a novelty with the speech, ball hold and heartbeat but the play field was slow and boring.
The problem with Flash is that it was too popular and the average machine in the pinball parlours was in a sad and worn state by 1982. To enjoy the challenge of Flash, the machine needs to be in perfect tune and working order.
In 1980, I bought a Flash from an operator and played it for about 3 years. The play field and cabinet are in original and very good condition. My Flash is in storage since 1984 and is probably one of few that is in original factory conditions, without any mods or touch-ups.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,
