There would have been a contact number on the machine for the operator, did you try calling him?
I always call them now when i see an issue and every single time they are extremely grateful that someone called them. Dont rely on the pub/location to call as i have discovered they hardly ever do. 
I'm pretty sure there wasn't one. Anyway, no doubt it belongs to a member here.
