LOl- just done some rivets, to replace i ended up using a concrete step with some paper acting as a buffer, an extension from a socket set and a hammer.
Not sure ill be posting my technique on a " How to"  blog somehow
you should have told me mate, I have a rivet press here. i could have dropped it off the other day.   @.@
