I would also recommend an excellent HBO series called fittingly enough, "From the Earth to the Moon."
The soundtrack itself is inspirational as it is.
Agreed, brilliant series. Tom Hanks financed it, does an intro to each episode. Best is "Spider" about the development of the Lunar Lander, fantastic episode.
