47's are better mate... draw less current and give off less heat.

Ive got bulbs in some of my EM games that have been sprayed with normal enamel from a can... they light up well and 6 years down the track all are still working.. can honestly say that i havent experienced any shortening in life expectancy on these

Make sure you only use #47 globes in behind the backglass. I use #47 under plastics, and #44 under playfield inserts. It is all personal opinion, but #47 are a better alternative.
