Well in the space of a few months this place has risen to No. 1 (at least as far as google is concerned). The search term

now results in our forum being returned at the top!

Sorry Guys, As much as I love this site it does not do well in terms of Google Rankings. You cannot use a domain name as a basis for ranking as it will always rank high. My regular job is involved with Search Engine Optimisation for websites across all Asia pacific (including sites in Japanese & Chinese) so I have been down this road for a long while.
The biggest limitation of this website as it currently stands is that the site is locked for non-members which would mean that search engines such as Google are unable to index the rich content in the forum posts. For example if you look at the following link it shows you all the pages on AussiePinball that Google can see

I am more than happy to provide suggestions to bring up the rankings for this site (if asked) - assuming this is what is sought.
