All good nino, there were more pins on the aux lamp pcb that showed definite cracks in the solder joints, so reflowed and back box perfect. I have removed insert lamps previously thinking its the holders but I'm sure some were out due to the lamp pcb. Thanks for all your tips guys.

And if skybeau ever reads this he will be pleased to know that I started early in the day to do this fix and not after a few wines which always makes my board repairs a little dubious
