Are you sure about that?

What I'm seeing is two different globe holders.
The one on the left is for controlled lamps and the one on the right is for GI.
If you want to use the controlled lamp holder for GI then just ignore one of the lugs and solder the braid to the bracket the same as the other lamp holders in your machine.

Yup - A-2916 and A-2915 can be used in Ballys and I've been using them for years. The bracket is where the GI return can be soldered. It is common with the bottom lug. Use a meter and it will show continuity. The middle lug is for a diode - which is not needed on the older games. The top lug is for the controller lamp or GI wire. The "easy" way to look at it that the braid is soldered in the same place as the original braid and the lcolored lamp wire is soldered to the top lug.
