thanks mate but......here's the scenario I have where you have the 2 blues and this red wire. the picture shows the original globe holder. I have tried soldering the red on the lug where you have the 2 blues and soldering the 2 blues & braid on the frame. have also tried the braid to frame, 2 blues to where you have it on the lug and the red on the other lug and I think I have tried the other combo braid to frame, blues to middle lug and red to outside lug. all with no success.

I'm trying to work out which combo is correct and then troubleshoot why the globe is still dead
