Try this: insert a known good lamp into the holder. Blue wires and braid should go to the bracket as it was on the old lamp holder. Then use a meter to check continuity from the bracket to one of the lugs. The lug with continuity is the one that gets the red wire. If the lamp still does not work then the problem is elsewhere. Either I the wiring or more likely at the driver board connected or driver board circuit.
