Question -
In 1978, Williams released
Phoenix Pinball machine, and the machine was super bright pink with super bright yellows n red colours etc.
Does anyone know if this was a
feature that was new to pinball compared to the previous offereings that seem to be much less in your face with the very soft pastel colours that were on pinnys before say Phoenix was released ?
Was this machine a turning point with colours being extremely brighter to attract newer players/kids etc and did Williams make super bright colours a feature on pinballs by going this way with the head to toe superbright in ya face more modern colours ?
Anyone who knows pinball machines during the entire 1970's might be able to answer this one for us all.....if it is correct, then it means colours were used as
features to attract new generations ? it would also mean that not all
features were toys or bells or whistles, but just a rehash of the basics to make a big visual difference ? Can anyone shed any light on this one for me please ??
