Problem solved. Thanks everyone for your input.This was a German machine that had some weird and wonderful wiring. Anyway, Mike hinted to check the transformer with a DMM. I did that which confirmed that there was no power at all there. Thanks to a schematic that was sent to me, I was able to fumble through it and long story short, found a green and black wire was not connected to the purple wires it should have been. One of the wires had pulled out of the wire connector I had them in enough to break contact. Anyway, the machine is alive and I am happy once again.
