Hi guys, just thought i'd post a quick progress update;

below are some pics of the cabinet side stencils being traced and cut

1st pic, tracing the art on the old cab which i kept for just this purpose
2nd pic, yellow stencil ready for use
3rd pic, cutting out the stencil for the black
4th pic, completed black stencil.

Same as i did on Ian's Genie cab, i made one tracing for both colours, then traced this onto the cardboard with carbon paper for the yellow stencil.

For the black i just cut through the tracing paper and cardboard rather than trace it onto the cardboard then cut.

Notice in the last pic, after i had cut the yellow stencil, i had traced the 1st stencil in green marker pen onto the carboard for the black stencil. I did this to help ensure good alignment of the two stencils when i did the cutting of the black stencil, and ultimately for correct alignment and registration when spraying.

I'm using the back and bottom edges of the cardboard to align the stencil to the cabinet for this one (stencils were double checked for correctness on the old cabinet).
