Another small update. I have the back box door finished and back in place. As I guess is typical with a game of this age there was a lot of crap built up on all of the wires but it all cleaned up nicely. One thing I did learn while doing this was that its easier to whack a bit of solder on all of the globe holder lugs while the back box light/ display board is on its back rather then when you have it reinstalled in the back box. I made the mistake of only soldering on the globe holders connected by the tinned trace wire and not putting solder on the many globe holders which have wires connected directly to them. It's heaps harder to get that first bit of solder to take once the board is vertical so I won't do that again.



Front of the door below. Still has the original displays but they will be replaced before the games complete.



Heres a close up of one of my aluminium light shrouds have also been powder coated and installed.



That's it for the time being. Next job is moving all of the playfield switches and wires over to the new playfield and installing all of the playfield parts. Hopefully I don't bugger it up!
