Always used ego depot to depot and always have it palletised before dropping it off (that way they just have to fork it straight onto to the back of the semi with no physical handling of the machine on their part).

Put the address/invoice in a prominent place and write the delivery address on the wrapping as well as a safeguard. Also tape the caution/fragile printouts to all four sides.

Only downside is their lack of contact details/direct phone number - all contact is done by email/web booking and tracking to keep prices down.

However, ego are freight forwarders for Hunter Express who do have a regular contact number so you can get a direct in person contact as to your consignment's shipping status that way.  #@#
