What's a ball park cost to restore that pin to former glory  (((

I get these questions all the time from impulse buyers that think they scored a bargain  *%*

Repro Playfield (if you can still source) - $900 + Shipping to Australia $200 = $1100
Labor charge to swap over playfield - $1200 ish for a SYS6 or SYS7 game = $1200
NOS Backglass - $400 + Shipping $250 = $650
Plastics set, New legs, flipper kits and other parts - $500 ish
Restoration time excluding playfield - 30 hours @ $55 ph
Boards refurbished - unknown until on test bench.

Project machines are sold by all dealers because they are cost prohibitive to restore and they don't have the skills or time to restore these games. It is a good business decision to sell as projects. Start them at $1 and hopefully the bidding will be fair and honest.

This game would be lucky to be worth $500 tops. For a $1000, there's no way it can be restored to make a profit. So I assume it went to an owner that has this title as a "Holy Grail", and money is no object.

A standard Black Knight value would be $2200.
A Restored BK could fetch up to $3500 ish
