There is plenty of work even on a Flash in good nick. There are tell signs showing the vintage of this machine.
Some finer detail work is neccesary to cover the wrinkles of age, no matter how well the machine is maintained. Here are some close up photos showing minor cabinet scuffs, upper playfield ball swirls, oxidising lamp holders, apron paint blemishes, to name a few.
In the following photos you can see where the lower playfield contact has protected the paint whereas the upper was unprotected. Fortunately Flash has a lot of black on the upper half and there are no major paint chips or wear. On the next photo can be seen yellowing around the lamps, more swirls and the last photo shows the pop bumper lamp holder oxidised.
