Sorry about the late response.

1. Earliest pinball memory?

The mid 70's, a milk bar in East Hills, Sydney. I can't remember the machines, only that they 5 cents.

2. All time favorite pin? Why?

Medieval Madness, followed by Baywatch.  MM offers so much to do, easy rule set that all can follow and just a great fun machine.

3. Favorite pinball manufacture?

Williams, so many of my favourites come from Williams, especially around 1993-1997

4. Favorite game in your collection? Why?

The MM mentioned before, it is has modded with colour DMD, extra figures, gold trim, leds, mirror blades and subwoofer.  It seems to grab everyone's attention and doesn't dissapoint when played.

5. How long have you been collecting?

Only 4 years

6. First game and how did you find it?

I bought 5 at the same time.  Tony from the Pinball Shed was kind enough to deliver then from Brisbane to Charleville, they were Black Rose, Terminator 2 and Tee'd Off.
I picked 2 from private sales in Toowoomba a Jurassic and Creature from  the Black Lagoon.

7. Do you still have it?

Still got all but the T2 which I reluctantly traded for a heap of memorabilia.

8. What are you currently working on?

A Theatre Magic - trying to get a magnet ball save working.  A Indiana Jones with a diversion switch problem and 2 playboys (Stern with display issues)

9. Most wanted game to add to your collection?

Monster Bash, Circus Voltaire

10. Best all time bargain game added to your collection?

Stern World Poker - got a very nice with leds and mirror blades for under $3k

11. Worst ever miss – tell us about the one that got away!

Missed a X-Men LE by 3 minutes.  I answered the post 5 minutes after it was posted.  It sold in 2 minutes.

12. Worst ever purchase – tell us about the game you wished you never bought

Roller Coaster Tycoon - I just don't get it!  I also bought a Kiss and Bally Playboy, very nice condition but once again I can't get into that older play style.

13. Describe your collection

Nearly all DMD era.  I got around 55 machines now and just working out which are long term keepers, which are maybes and which ones to place on sale.

14. Describe your gamesroom

I got a little one in the main house, A large 2 room billiard bar building and a large shed with 3 rows of machines.

15. Do you have other games other than pinball?

Only a console 55 games in 1 type of machine and a arcade shooter.

16. Where can you see the hobby in 10 years?

I think it is looking quite promising.  Stern seems to be poking along nicely and hopefully JJ gets their act together and I'm sure Mike from Homepin will make a commendable range of machines and products by then.
There also seems to be heaps of container pins arriving and the whole gerneral interest seems to up.  Costco with machines, Lollygollyblissbombs or (what ever they are) giving away some sort of pinball.

An interesting documentary called Replay The Film shows how the New York has embraced pinball.  There also seems a lot of new pinball leagues popping up.  So yes I think pinball will be a lot more prominent and popular in 10 years.

Cheers
Brett
