Hi There to everyone that responded to our "Hello to all"
I won't get "off topic" but our 1980 Galaxy was working a treat when we brought her home Sunday.
Had tea
Went back for another "FIX" and nothing working.
Bought her as fully restored but we know they can be volatile...
We thought perhaps the trip home (even though blanketed, covered etc) may have distabilised some fuses perhaps but as I said all good on getting home short of a couple of lights now working.
Replaced the main MPU today now everything is working bar a couple of lights (we can fix that) but no sound.
A pinball machine just "aint as Perrtie" without sound.
This thread may need to be moved into "repairs etc..."
I am on other forums and am familiar with rules but any advice is appreciated.
We are all pretty wired cookies (excuse the pun
) but they boards on these machines do our brain circuits
