I'll try again and use the word 'restore' rather than 'buy'. ...BUT the reason I haven't gone down that path is that I currently have the Ron & Nancy Web backglass (8.5-9) in my machine. ... BUT as some of you will know, this backglass is not all that faithful to the original art. I firstly have no need to get this one repaired, and secondly, I wouldn't do it anyway, as the artwork is not close enough to the original.
When I saw the pics of this glass on the website, it was done absolutely true to the original and I thought 'Wow. ... Here's a chance to get a repro glass that's true to the original art'. .... I never thought I'd ever see one done for a woodrail!! ... I'll try again and see if I can get response. Does anyone know this guy's name?? Mark
