I filed the contacts back to a nice even finish, putting in the 1ohm resistor let me have the contacts open later so no bounce anymore...

The top flipper power is spot on now (not too powerful). Im happy as a pig in doodoo  $#$

Here is a shot of the resistor. Only issue i might get is a stress fracture with the resitor bouncing around, if that happens, I'll hard mount it on the back of the playfield.

Thanks again - I was trying to get less strength by opening the contacts earlier, but that was a no go. Gotta wonder why people remove these parts, makes it hard to fix afterwards. That schematic you have is 100%, much better than the ones from the IPDB (can't complain about free ones though). Im still wondering why the Meteor schematic didn't show the resistor  !@#
