Really hooked in the last few days. Its been great having my dad and brother in law help out a fair bit as well. Dad had cleaned all the plastics, ball guides and wiring, while my brother in law did the legs and other bits and pieces.  A new base was installed in the cabinet as well.

Started with the front decal, after hours of sanding, bogging and priming and sanding...

All decals were installed wet method. Some say you should let them dray, but i've done quite a few now and flip the cabinet over straight after doing the first side, with no nasty surprises.  These decals went on really smooth and was only one air bubble to squeeze out.

This is the first time i have used the metal cabinet protectors - these are fantastic and the only way to go in my opinion. You place them on, trim the decal around them (so they are directly onto wood), remove the trimmed decal, then replace the protector, and screw legs onto the protector. The legs cannot touch the cabinet and ruin a new decal!

I'm missing quite a few steps here, but put some new rails on (thanks again Railways), new earth braid and all the other bits and pieces, then put the headbox on and boards installed.

I had given the boards a check over, and all were pretty good - installed a remote battery holder for the MPU and only connected the driver board and turned on. All voltages tested good, so connected everything else to find.....

I had installed the DMD upside down...

A few other jobs were making a new label for the shifter (laminated paper i printed out)

The light board was cactus

So while i was at work, my brother in law made a new one

I've polished the playfield, so will continue reassembly, hopefully not too long before a game now
