You could, but you would need to isolate the leg from the coin door somehow, then solder one wire to the leg and the other to the middle tab (on the left side in your picture).  The tab on the right side does not do anything.
I have a fair few that I purchased and think I can use these for under the inserts when they go.

I recently used a couple on a Bally door - I'll have a look and advise.
