I am experimenting with silicon in the Homepin factory for our machines. The one BIG problem with silicone is if it gets even the SMALLEST nick in it it will snap almost straight away. The smallest nick travels right through the product almost instantly.

This isn't such an issue for the home machine BUT for an operator it's misery!
