The problem turned out to be with the right flipper. It has two switches the, the e.o.s and the low voltage switch switch controls the lane change. It appears that on occasion the low voltage shorted with the high voltage and blew the transistor.I did not actually see this happened but they were close and after moving them apart over a month ago the problem has gone away. It was a bitch to fault find. Got 100 transistors from China for $1.35 delivered and as I installed a socket I could change over with the main board installed and had no chance of heat damage due to changing over components over and over. The other problem I had with the machine was with the sound ....all sorted ( see other post under Road Kings)
