The EOS would have to open REALLY early to cause this sort of issue, and should be obvious.  I think Embryon would have linear flipper mechs??  If so check for severe wear on the nylon pivot arm that can catch on the slot in the plunger.  Otherwise it is a bit of a strange one !@#
