Happy to report problem solved. Not an EOS problem but the actuator for the EOS. When looking at it from underneath the pf it looked ok. I noticed though there was a lot more play between the round nylon on the actuator and the plunger rod compared to the right flipper. I took it off and found the other side of the nylon is very worn, see photos. Lucky I had one spare left.
