might be a stupid question, but are the optos lit up on the Lauren Belle in lane? if not it will go into ball search mode. If their not lit up, wriggle the connectors under the playfield.
The technician checked all the optos and said they were fine. I'm not sure if he just couldn't fix it and blamed the motor...how could it be the wrong Rpm when I bought a brand new Maverick motor from Marco?
It sucks that the two issues I had, the paddle wheel and the sound dropping out, were the reasons I got him out and he fixed neither and charged me more than he should've. 
What did he charge you for if he didn't fix anything ? I assume you won't be wasting any more $$ on him in the future.
