Pretty simple in the end....vote with your wallets and your feet people. If you dont like the fact there is very little info make contact or simply just ignore the sale.
Personally for what it is worth I dont like the idea that sponsorship buys your way out of doing what every one else has to do. This is one of the things that caused alot of problems on a different forum but.......thems the rules.
