Thanks Steevsee,

I was just about to look at how to do this.

I just check the continuity of the wire and all is good there.. I cut a piece of wire 2mtrs long and put a crimp on one end and an aligator clip on the other, placed the crimp into J2 - 20 and clipped the other end to the socket.. no go so it's not the connector crimp or wire, must be on the board! so scr test it is..
