Solder is Ofcourse the soft metallic wire you melt with your soldering iron to join wires.

Tint is a chemical which one can use to prepare a surface chemically for soldering to get a better bonding.

Flux is also a chemical which helps the solder to stick another metal object.

Flux Capacitor is only used in Back to the Future and has nothing to do with soldering, but for fun you can tell your wife or the kids it has everything to do with time travel and your family will think working on pinballs is even more cool.

That's my technical speak converted to laymans terms if I got it right. Lol
