That message breaks many consumer laws in Australia and Stern really need to watch their step. It is straight out ILLEGAL!!

If I saw that I would demand it be fixed forthwith (at Sterns expense) or I would have the ACCC crucify them - and they WOULD!

Damn, your such a positive person...wow!!

In the end how about sharing the fix please...would be worth having in case another member comes across the same message.

First I am an incredibly positive person or I could not be doing what I am doing.

Second I have no idea what the fix is therefore I can't share it and....... thirdly, this type of thing makes my blood boil and it is exactly why we have HAD to implement consumer laws to protect us from shifty selling tactics like this -  it is not legal in Australia and it does not matter if you like that or not but you certainly could be a part of getting them to change their shonky ways by reporting it and help save the grief for someone in the future.

Lol, perhps you should change how you post then, you always come across as someone who has an axe to grind. Be it against Stern (which is mainly what I read) or others in the industry. Perhaps look in your backyard first at the way you conduct yourself before you throw any more axes....

Secondly, the the fix comment was to the op so we (including yourself it seems), would know a fix if we ever came across it.

I have no axe to grind and if I did it certainly would not be against Stern - Gary is my hero in the industry and I admire all he has done (many others won't agree with me on this). Please show me even ONCE where I have EVER said anything bad about Stern? Impossible, as I never have - perhaps you have me confused with another poster?

There are certain manufacturing methods that (in my industry experience) have already PROVEN themselves to be a very bad way to go and so I certainly make comment on those flawed ideas when I see them crop up ONLY to offer a little balance to the "screaming fans" who almost always have little technical knowledge and seem to be attracted by pretty coloured beads....
