Been playing fine last night and a few games today. So should I still look at the connectors or rectifier or both?
If they are the problem - they won't go away. The next time you have an issue and jiggle the connectors, then the problem will appear again. You can leave alone, but as long as you know there is a problem that you will need to attend to at some stage.
