About 10 years ago I emailed the gaming commission to see what the rules were on owning a one armed bandit the Reply was something like this.

  We advise you do not attempt to own a gaming machine there is 5year jail $100,000 fine or both.

   You can get a permit to own one but the machine isn't allowed to take coins give coins must be stored in a locked room and will be subject to spot inspections
