A Kimberley Kamper would be my recommendation due to its versatility and ruggedness, but then I tend to do a fair bit of off the beaten track travelling when I go on trips up North and Central Aus.
I've had my current model for a couple of years now and it ticks all the boxes in terms of comfort, utility and mod cons.
If heat/humidity is a concern, you can attach a custom built air con to it as an accessory.
