Sorry to hear about your cat but good news she is on the mend.
I had a siamese cat that got run over when I was a kid. She also came home with one eye and a wired up jaw and went on to live another 14 years before the second car hit her and it was game over.
You will notice she does things a bit different from now on such as only jumps up on things from one side but she'll be apples 
Missy has only 7. Lives left after last weekend.
She looks for the ball when it goes down the drain and gets served back into play.
