If the problem is needing to increase sales volume, then the answer is not a cut down version of a game. Its simple, lower the base price of future or even existing games. Costs should in theory drop with volume. But pinball machines are so labour intensive, so I'm amazed the closest any manufacturer has got to automation is the dimpler which is a bastardized press that by the look of it may have cast on it the letters 'WW1'

With what I see from a lot of the production line vids, I am surprised they use cad software and not pencils and a whole lot of rulers.

But back to the possible problem, a coin door is not the answer and so isn't raising the price for every new release.
