Some more progress pics on Pop A Card;

Base coat done over the weekend

Webbing has been done too. I ended up redoing the webbing as i wasn't happy with my first attempt at it. My first go at it the webbing looked to be going on ok but it wasn't really sticking to the cab properly. I had it to a point where i thought i was happy with it, brushing off the loose webbing but the more i looked at it the less satisfied i was becoming! I didn't like the way it looked and it had a rough texture to it.

Then i remembered a Volley resto thread done by ktm450 where he cleared over the webbing, i searched for that thread and had a look again.. well i decided to steal his idea and shoot a clearcoat over my newly applied webbing yesterday after i had given the basecoat a quick sand with 400 grit to remove my first attempt.

 A bit of a wipedown with prepsol, sprayed my new webbing paint on, followed immediately by a dust coat of clear to hold it in place. Then i gave it a further several wet coats to finish it off.. turned out MUCH BETTER and a much smoother finish  $#$ It's maybe a little heavier in a couple of places than i would've liked but overall i'm VERY happy with it  *%*
