After repairing the structural issues, the painting begins. I take the lower cabinet to the paint shop and have the colour and finish matched. There's always a section under the siderails or coin door that has the original specs. The base is done and then speckle / webbing.

The cabinet needs to be prepared for the stencils, so masking it completely takes time and will prevent overspray.





Here is the RED stencil being applied to the base.





A light mist coat to start off, then building up the color with light coats.

Time to remove the stencil





I wipe off any edges with a rag before starting the black color. The stencil is applied.








Black stencil removed -






The MIST coat is applied ;






First of the thin coats applied ;




Stencil removed ;




Finished Cabinet ;








The Cabinet is put aside and other cabinets were painted during this time.
