Here's something radical, inspired by Mitch  *%*

Scrape out all the white, and create a mask out of low tack paper and spray the white area and then seal.

How do you do it so the light can still shine through though?.



Light will be able to shine through the white areas - from memory, the globes are mounted above the score reels, facing down, not out - so it may work !




Yepp that would work i reckon. the light would still shine through pretty good, just make sure to get an even coverage of paint. i usually use a white primer type paint in a pressure pack, usually acrylic.

another trick you could try, that i've used and had success with is to cut a sticker (decal) out of white A4 adhesive label and stick that behind the glass. i did that on both my MIBS and KLONDIKE glasses and it worked great!
